Outstanding - Chapter must average $130 raised per man to any philanthropy with a minimum of $2,500 contributed to SeriousFun Children’s Network. Exceeds Expectations: - Chapter must average $75 raised per man to any philanthropy. Meets Expectations: - Chapter must average $40 raised per man to any philanthropy. Details You use the Checklist app on ChapterSpot. You may want to create an Excel/Sheets Document to track donations through each semester. Keep detailed notes of the dollars raised, event details & the organization that was supported.
Reporting Money Raised for SeriousFun
You will want to collect your donations for event you hosted & write one check from the chapter or colony to the Phi Kappa Tau Foundation. Make sure you put SeriousFun/(Chapter) on the memo line. You will mail it to the following address: 5221 Morning Sun Rd., Oxford, OH., 45056.
Contributing to Other Charitable Organizations
You may contribute to a variety of other local organizations near your campus. You would track the money in the same fashion & contribute the donations to the organization directly. You’ll want to receive a receipt of donation from that organization for your group’s records. Your members may contribute to other events (example sorority or fraternity philanthropy event) & it can count toward your overall contributions for the Borradaile Challenge. Your philanthropy chairman can track the reported donations made.
