Recommendation Consolidate with item below. Regional (state road) traffic counts are updated annually by VDOT. Local roads (Arlington County) are updated every three (3) years. Currently there are 64 count locations; the locations can be reduced to better represent the regional and local traffic movements in CC. Recommendation: Staff will update traffic counts at selected locations surrounding and in CC every three years in map form. This will provide a better overall picture of traffic in CC.
