Passes for other days can be picked up at Chemical Bank on Joe Mann Boulevard during working hours. • All workers at the booth must wear a hat and those popping corn must wear gloves. No open toe shoes. • Be aware if you are working after dark. We have had a couple of “incidents” while walking to cars after dark. If in doubt get an escort from security. • Donna Jo passed around a donation sheet for the Small Animal Auction. Our Foundation and club members have always helped the kids at the small animal auction.

Happy Dollars: •

Tom was happy to share a picture taken during the flood from inside of one of Bill Phillips designed homes. Dick Heiny was happy to share the information that his grand daughter will be going to the Rose Parade as part of the Air Force Academy HS band. Dick shared a story of how he lost his hearing aid eating cereal.

Program: Bart introduced his guests from the American Legion who were here as part of the Vietnam War Commemoration and to let us know about the Vet-to-Vet

program in the area. Tom Talbot and Ken Sanderson shared their experiences with the initiatives of the local American Legion. The Vet-to-Vet program was started with cooperation from the VA to help any vet in need. The need could be a place to sleep (homeless), mental problems, money for utilities, etc. The Legion Riders was formed and dedicated to helping Vets in need. They were instrumental in bringing the travelling Vietnam Wall to Sanford in 2016. Over 8,000 people visited the wall while it was in Sanford. The Legion Riders do many benefit rides to raise money to help local people in need. An example was a fund-raiser in the memory of Ryan Bridges. The ride and dinner brought in over $5,000.

Meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
