Mock Wreck at PHS PHS will present a mock wreck on campus Thursday, May 11th, to show students the dangers of drunken driving. “The goal is to heighten awareness and remind students of the consequences of driving drunk. This is important this time of year as prom and graduation season gets underway,” said Joey McCarthy, assistant director of the Safety and Security Department. PHS Student Crime Stoppers, PHS Theater Tech., City of Paris Fire Department and EMS, Reno Fire and Rescue, Texas Department of Public Safety, Roden-Pryor Funeral Home, Whitaker Towing, AirEvac helicopter service, Ronnie and Vickie Ballard, and Dylan’s Drivers have made the mock wreck possible by monetary donations and donations of time and equipment..
