Mongolia VISA REQUIREMENTS AND INSTRUCTIONS READ CAREFULLY: Incomplete or delayed submission of the visa application can result in you missing your program! To apply for your visas: Download and print the visa application at: http://mongolianembassy.us/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/visa_application.pdf Please print and complete the applications following the attached example. Current Nationality: “U.S. Citizen” Leave any and all passport information blank. We will fill in this information for you after your Peace Corps passport is processed. Profession/Occupation: “Peace Corps Volunteer” Current address is your Home of Record.
Print 1 visa form Sign and date the visa form. Paperclip 1 - 2”x 2” photos (in addition to the 2 photos needed for your passport application) to your visa application. Mail your passport application, visa application, and passport photos to the address provided below. You need to use a mailing service to send us your travel documents (i.e. DHL, UPS, or Fed Ex). Please remember to retain your tracking number.

MONGOLIA VISA REQUIREMENTS AND INSTRUCTIONS
To travel to and then stay in Mongolia, you’ll need to send us:
One completed visa application,
One passport-sized photograph (this is in addition to the two needed for your passport application).
Fill out the application and return it (along with the necessary photo) to the Peace Corps travel office (SATO) as soon as you accept the invitation! The passport and visa acquisitions are a highly bureaucratic process involving several foreign and US agencies, so we’ll need all the time we can get. Call Sato Travel at 1-800-424-8580, option 2, extension 1170, or, 202-692-1170 if you have questions about the visa application.
Remember:
You’ll need one additional photo for the visa application,
Sign the application at the bottom of page two. That’s one thing a lot of people forget to do, even if they successfully fill out the rest of the application.
How to fill out the visa application, starting at the top of the first page:
1 & 2:
Fill in your names: As you know, your surname is your last name or family name; your given names are your first name and your middle name (as written on your passport).
3:
United States citizen.
4 & 5:
Fill in your date of birth and place of birth.
6 & 7:
Fill in the checkbox indicating your sex and your marital status.
8:
Peace Corps Volunteer. 1111 20th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20526, USA 202-692-1170 / 202-692-1171
9: 10 through 12: 13 & 14:
15:
Fill in your permanent address and phone number. Don’t fill these in! You’ll be issued a Peace Corps passport (even if you already have a tourist passport).
