MorningSide Farm’s CSA is a convenient way to enjoy fresh, certified organic vegetables, herbs and fruits that are grown with the care that maximizes each crop’s nutritional value. Your weekly share will contain 7 or 8 items, bunches, bags or boxes selected from over 200 different crop varieties which we grow. We strive to offer an approximate farmer’s market value of $30.00 per week.
7 CSA Share Description: Each Week for 20 weeks, June 10 through October 21, your share will consist of something from each vegetable type; leaves, vine fruits and roots. Amounts, plant variety and selection will vary with the season, weather conditions, and the pace of our crop’s development. Please keep in mind that we grow over 200 different varieties of vegetables, herbs and fruits. So the possible combination of produce in each week’s harvest is almost limitless. Herbs, Blackberries, Red Raspberries, Black Raspberries and Blueberries are offered on a U-Pick basis. Each week you are invited to pick a single market unit or a 1 weeks supply. The fee for the Summer Share is $600.00. One half is due by February 15 and the other half is due by March 15.
7 Farm Hands: We ask you to join us and experience the growing your food. Any help with the sowing, cultivating, harvesting or packaging our crops will an enormous help to us. You will need to schedule with us a week in advance so that we can plan appropriately for your participation. We also ask that you consider helping in at least 4-hour increments, so that we can make best use of your efforts. You will be rewarded for your 12 hour commitment with a $100 discount to your yearly share price.
