What’s a Youth Farm CSA?

A Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) membership directly connects you with the Youth Farmers growing healthy, sustainable, and local produce. You make a commitment to support the Youth Farm by purchasing a membership and in exchange you receive fresh produce weekly along with newsletters and recipes during the growing season.

What’s in a Share?

The Youth Farm is a collaborative educational program of the Marion-Polk Food Share and OSU Ext. 4-H. Our purpose is to increase the stability of the local food system while giving high-school students valuable work experience and agricultural education.

The 2015 CSA distribution will run from June 27th—August 29th Large Vegetable Share – 10 weeks / $220 Supplies 2 veggie lovers or 3-4 moderate veggie eaters Small Vegetable Share – 10 weeks / $150 Supplies 1 veggie lover or 2-3 moderate veggie eaters Working Share – 10 weeks / $120 + 1 hour of farm work a week Supplies a large vegetable share at a discounted rate in exchange for an average of 1 hour a week of work at the Youth Farm (10 hours total) Pantry Support Share – 10 weeks / $275 + small share goes to a food pantry Supplies a small vegetable share, while donating an additional small share to a local food pantry
