July 26-29 MS/HS Skills
General Information
Camp Objectives
Campers will not be allowed to leave campus without PERMISSION or SUPERVISION by a staff member.
Campers will be grouped with appropriate skill levels to ensure a positive camp experience for all.
Counselors will stay with residential campers at night in the Concord University Dorms.
Players will learn the tactics of the sport through drills.
All swimming will be supervised with certified lifeguards on duty.
Location
The camp is held on the campus of Concord University in Athens, West Virginia, 6 miles north of Princeton, just off Rt. 20 and 15 miles from I-77 and Rt. 460.
Players will be thoroughly instructed in technique of individual skills in the sport of volleyball. Good sportsmanship and fair play will be expected and reinforced throughout the camp.
Necessities for Week of July 26-29
RESIDENT CAMPERS - Camp A (includes room and meals) $325.00
A camper planning to stay overnight should bring casual summer clothes, swim wear, complete practice outfits, socks, volleyball shoes, towels, toiletries, pillow, linens for a twin bed, a blanket, and spending money.
COMMUTING CAMPERS - Camp B (no room or meals) $210.00
Commuters will register on same day same time as residential campers
Residential Camps Food & Lodging
Commuters can bring bag lunches or the CU Cafeteria will be available for meals. Meal prices will be made available on the first day of camp.
The campers will be in a dormitory with 2 persons per room.
The campers will be served meals in the dining room of CU’s Student Center.
Commuter Campers will be expected to report to their assigned gym at:
Camp Facilities
The Volleyball Camp will be held in the CU Carter Center. The Carter Center holds two gymnasiums as well as a swimming pool.

Campers should plan to arrive on the first day of camp at noon. Registration will take place in the lobby of the Carter Center between 12:00 noon and 1:00 pm. The first session will begin at 1:30 pm. Camp will finish by noon on the last day.
