SPRING COURSE OFFERING #2

ARTICLE WRITING COMPETITION

The Global Cash Flow: A Real Estate Perspective course is scheduled for Thursday, May 24th. The course provides an introduction to the concept of global cash flow in the context of commercial real estate (CRE) risk exposures. It provides an analytical tool that will help participants determine the probability of loan repayment on real estate transactions where the owner/investor has multiple investment real estate holdings, with varying degrees of ownership interest. The course focuses on how to gather relevant sources of cash flow information, and how to assemble that information in a clear and organized fashion in an effort to effectively analyze global cash flow implications on CRE loan repayment. CRE lenders and small business lenders who need to increase their understanding of how to analyze loan repayment and assess the global impact of portfolio cash flows and related contingent liabilities will benefit from this course. The course will be instructed by James A. Tutt Jr. of VineBranch Enterprises, Ltd. Receive a 10% discount when you register 30 days or more in advance of this course.

The due date for article submissions in our 2012 Article Writing Competition is Friday, April 20th. This is your opportunity to win cash prizes up to $750. Furthermore, if your article places in the top three of our chapter competition, then it will be automatically submitted to RMAs national competition for additional cash prizes and potential paid registration to the 2012 Annual Risk Management Conference in Dallas.
