Notice of Public Hearing
A hearing will be held on Wednesday, September 7th, 2016 at 7:00 p.m at the Council Chambers, Arnprior Town Hall, 105 Elgin Street West, Arnprior, ON. The hearing is being held for two application: Application of minor variance at 63 Victoria Street, Arnprior and an application of consent for 356 McLean Avenue. Plastic Bottle Recycling
The Town has set up a large container in the parking lot at the Nick Smith Centre for the recycling of plastic bottles provided by the Town during the Drinking Water Advisory. If you have more plastic bottles that can fit in your blue box, please bring these containers to the Nick Smith Centre for recycling. Please note that the large 18.9 L jugs (water cooler jugs) from Nelson should not go into the large container, they should be given to a Town staff member at the Nick Smith Center separately. Please remember that rigid recyclable containers, like bottles, may not be placed in plastic bags. They must be placed loose in your blue bin or they will not be collected.
Decoration Sunday
The Town’s Decoration is held for both cemeteries on August 28th, 2016 at the Albert Street Cemetery. The service is at 2pm and seating is not provided so please bring your own chairs. Flowers placed during the service will remain for one week and then be removed by staff.
Daniel Street Construction
Please note that there will be lane reductions on Daniel Street between Michael Street and Charles Street from August 25th – October 26th. Two lanes of traffic will remain with periotic interruptions to north bound traffic.
