The Murrieta Town Square Park is the centerpiece of the new 34-acre civic center. Surrounded by the City Hall, Police Station, Public Library, and other commercial buildings, the square is envisioned to be a vibrant mixed-use civic core with a 1,000-seat amphitheater, tree-lined walking paths, open lawn, and gardens, designed to capture the spirit of the city’s heritage, embrace the city’s contemporary life, and inspire a surrounding promenade of shops and restaurants for residents and tourists.
