SIZES S (M, L) – Shown in sizes S and M (Note: S fits child 2 to 6 years, M fits pre-teen to Woman, L fits Man). Gauge 18 sts and 24 rows = 4" [10 cm] in stocking stitch.
INSTRUCTIONS The instructions are written for smallest size. If changes are necessary for larger sizes the instructions will be written thus ( ). Join in rnd, taking care not to twist and placing a marker on first st. 1st to 8th rnds: *K2. P2. Rep from * around. 9th rnd: Knit. Rep 9th rnd until work from beg measures 6 (6½, 7)" [15 (16.5-18) cm]. Break MC. Join A.
13th rnd: *K2. K2tog. Rep from * around. 21 (24-24) sts. 15th rnd: *K1. K2tog. Rep from * around. 14 (16-16) sts. 17th rnd: *K2tog. Rep from * around. 7 (8-8) sts.
Finishing Cut yarn, leaving a tail. Using tapestry needle, thread tail through remaining sts while removing needles. Pull snuggly. Weave in ends.
