Expansion of league to add “B” teams All  A B team would need to have ice to Robyn by the end of August, but talked about having B teams join our league and could cross over with the Federation, and play with the C teams  We do have a slot for provincials in NARWA, one slot, would need playoff’s if need be (if we had more than one B team or C team)  Would need to have an info night for B teams, possibility to have an info night at the J Percy Paige Centre  Goal to try to have an email and the brochure done for an info night  Have an info night in April  Budget approved to use toward promotional items DISCUSSION Potential to develop if the B games could play out of RQB. Association costs are very expensive and the costs are going up. The adult teams are helping subsidize the costs of the younger kids which is why it is expensive. As discussed above, we would put team reps to discuss with teams that would be interested in Open B. Names to be contacts: o Robyn Dawson (Tri Catz) o Monique Loukin (Tri Catz) o Danielle Ameragmon (Bearazz) o Teena Burrell with the (Ice) Options for arenas o Calihoo, Calmar (Brittany has the contact), TLC, etc. We would help teams find ice to get them interested. Promotion of NAWRA/Ringette by league executive or volunteers Carla/All One or more representatives are requested to attend one of the below events and take along NAWRA collateral to promote our league and encourage young ladies to join our league List of dates for “Come Try Ringette” Spruce Grove is March 19 Barrhead Feb 22 Morinville March 30 Indus March 22 Open C provincials in Leduc ?? Provincials are the last week of March Sherwood Park has an adult learn to play – the above is likely for bunnies Chris plays out of the Mark Messier arena shinny on Friday mornings. She is from St Albert and will try to recruit for this. Morinville – Blazers will attend the above Come try Ringette to recruit for NAWRA Potentially get some business cards to hand out for information purposes.

New item: Cancelation of the game due to not having a goalie. This is not an acceptable reason to cancel a game. It is not in the policies and procedures to deal with this issue so there were no repercussions. Solution: Discuss with the other team before so we can avoid this issue. Motion: 603 (d) Add to the policies and procedures add in “or lack of players” after poor sportsmanship $500 fine First: Monique Loukin Second: Jacqueline Burrell Abstaining: 3 people All in favour – motion carried. 6.
