Lighting the Way for Solar • In 2007, GMP did an evaluation of the benefit of solar in terms of offsetting peak and developed a “Solar Rate” to provide additional value to customers who wanted to go solar • Constructed Vermont’s first “Large” solar project at a whopping 200kW – since that time multiple 2MW installations have been constructed • Worked with regulators and lawmakers to expand net metering and turn GMP Solar Rate into Law • Turned Rutland,VT into the Solar Capital of New England, with the most solar per capita of any city in New England 2
