Roster Minimum: Teams must have a minimum of two (2) players present at game time to avoid a forfeit. Teams may not register unless there are two (2) players on the IMLeagues roster at the time of payment. Roster Maximum: Teams may have an unlimited amount of players on a team. Game Day Maximum: Teams may “check in” or “dress” no more than six (6) players on their Game Day Roster for any specific Flag game.

A game will be won once a team win’s two matches. A team may score a point regardless of which team had initially served (Rally Scoring). Matches 1 &2 will be first to 11, win by 2. There will be a point cap of 15 points meaning if the score is 14-14, the next team to score a point will win. If a 3rd Match is necessary it will be the first to 7 points, win by 2. There will be no point cap and the teams will not switch sides. The AWAY team will begin the match with first serve and be serving toward the mezzanine side of the court. (Teams will switch sides and service for each match)
Time Outs: Each team is entitled to 2 time-outs per game. Rules of Play 1. One (1) of the server’s feet must be on the back line and in-between the two side lines during a serve. A team may pass to another player before a serve. A serve may not take a team more than three (3) touches before going over the net. 2. Teams score a point when the ball comes in contact with the ground, in bounds, on the opposing teams side of the court. 3. Upon catching the ball, a player’s feet must remain planted in that spot. If a player catches the ball on the run, they are able to come to a stop before planting their feet.
4. Each team is permitted three (3) touches before the ball must be “sent” over the net. Players may pass the ball to teammates before “sending” the ball. Players may not send the ball to themselves. 5. The ball must be thrown with both feet planted in bounds. 6. If the ball lands out of bounds, it will be considered a foul by the last team who made contact with the ball. 1. If any part of the ball touches the line, it is IN BOUNDS. 7. A player may not block the ball from going over the net. 8. The ball may not contact the net. 9. The ball may not be kicked, struck, or slapped. 10. A needlessly high ball will be considered a foul.
