Attendance
Another busy week in the life of Shadsworth Infant School. The children
Well done to Class 1!
had a great time with the visiting artist from the Lowry art gallery in Manchester. We hope you enjoyed looking around their art work yesterday and today. Can I remind you that all children must be wearing school shoes. We have a few boys in trainers and girls in boots. Children will be asked to wear their pumps for the day should they arrive in trainers or boots. All our families, children and staff are incredibly proud of the work we do at Shadsworth Infant School and the results we achieve. We wear our uniform with pride! As we come close to another assessment week, it is really important that all children are in school every day. Those of you who follow our attendance will know that it has dropped significantly again and we are once again at risk. Several children are on the border line for receiving a fine from the Local Authority. I don’t want this to happen as we work well with our families, and provide all the necessary support to get children in. Please speak to Mr Mooney if you need help with getting children to school on time. Thank you to those who have brought children in and checked with us if they are fit for school. Have a great weekend, Mrs Crompton
