News Release – For Immediate Release Crest Marine, LLC: Earns back-to-back, “Best Luxury Model” Award Crest awarded “Best Luxury Model” by Pontoon and Deck Boat Magazine for second straight year
Owosso, MI, December 7, 2015 -- For the second consecutive model year, the Crest Continental model has been awarded, “Best Luxury Model” by avid boaters. Pontoon and Deck Boat Magazine annually hosts its PDB Days, an event where boaters demo ride the Industry’s best pontoon brands and cast their votes for the best of the best. Over 20 exhibitors participated in the event held at the Fourwinds Resort & Marina in Bloomington, IN on September 26 and 27. After two days of fun filled, sun soaked boat demo riding and testing, the huge consumer turnout votes were tallied up by the experts at P&DB Magazine. Once again, just like in 2014, the enthusiastic boating attendee’s voted the Crest Continental as the “Best Luxury Model”. The Continental was first introduced in 2014 according to Matthew Blew, Director of Design at Crest Marine, LLC. “Our Continental blurs the line between the traditional pontoon boat and a fiberglass sport cruiser. We designed and engineered the boat with a full height, walk-thru windshield, coupled with a full enclosure. Still today, it’s the only one of its kind.” Crest Marine has participated in the PDB Days for years and uses the event to stay in touch with avid boaters. The Crest Continental has been a success with the rapidly expanding Crest dealer body too. “The Continental falls into our Luxury Class of boats and has been a hit from the day it was introduced” according to Joe Antonneau, Sr. VP of Sales and Marketing. “In fact today, it is our best seller within our Luxury Class and our Crest dealers from California, to Missouri to New York are experiencing excellent sales.
