1/2 This Week at Clare House Thank you to all parents who attended the official opening of the school building and 3G pitch on Friday. It was a memorable day for the children and everyone concerned and we really appreciated your support because it made it the community event that we wanted it to be.
A reminder to all parents about the Parents’ Forum on Monday 14th November at 9am in the school hall. We look forward to seeing you there. Have a good week. Mr Budden Sports News Monday 17th October In a closely fought game Bromley Road edged out Clare House 5 goals to 4 on the Overbury Avenue 3G pitch, home of the famous Clare House Primary School football team. It all started with Clare House going 1-0 up inside 5 mins and just 5 mins later Romeo scored a great goal to make it 2-0. As the crowd were getting louder, Bromley Road scored to at least get a goal back. Then Mr Patel blew the whistle for half time. Bromley Road still had their tails up and scored 4 goals in 7 mins ,however Clare House

came back into the game making it 5-4. The ball was being kicked end to end and Clare House just couldn’t get an equaliser. Sadly, Mr Patel blew the whistle for full time and the Bromley Road fans went crazy. Everyone shook hands after the match. Clare House may have been defeated but they could still hold their heads high. By Thomas (Year 6).
