Announcements Deacon Election

- Listed below are the people from the Nomination Vote on March 25 who have agreed to serve as deacon if elected for the term beginning October 1, 2012. Our Bylaws state that each candidate must receive a minimum of 33% of the ballots cast to be elected. We will elect three people from these nominees. You may vote for one or more (up to three), if that is your desire, and those elected will serve a 3 year term. Danny Bolton

The election of deacons will be Sunday morning, April 22, 2012 by secret ballot. If a member cannot be present for the election, he/she may obtain a ballot from his/her deacon and return it in a sealed envelope to his/her deacon before 10:30 a.m. on the day of election. The deacon will give the absentee ballot to a member of the Tabulating Committee.

Operation Inasmuch is a one-day missions outreach blitz in communities across North Carolina. Our church plans to participate on Saturday, April 28th. Westview will be preparing breakfast for homeless men, women and children from our local shelter. We will pick them up and serve them breakfast in our Fellowship Hall. Our youth and adults will be participating. If you would like to be here to welcome them, please come. In addition, each person will be given a gift bag of toiletry items. Please help by donating soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, etc. Please bring items by next Wednesday, April 25th. There will be drop-off locations throughout the church.
