Dear Parents/Carers As you are all now aware I will be retiring and leaving Milking Bank in July after nearly nineteen years as Head. I have always been very proud of our school, our children, our staff and the great relationships we have with you, our parents. When I leave it is my intention to do some part time school support work, possibly drive a white van or deliver yellow pages! It will be a real wrench to leave such a great school but for the remainder of this academic year I assure you I will continue to do the best I can for all of our pupils. I will keep you informed about the appointment of my successor. Reminder In Case of Snow If school is closed, parents will be informed via Groupcall and our Facebook page. There will also be announcements on the following radio stations. Local Radio Black Country Radio (formerly The Bridge Radio) Free Radio: Wolverhampton and Black Country Free Radio: Birmingham Heart/Capital BBC Radio WM Bi Election Reminder Just to remind you school is closed to children on 25th February due to the local bi election and school being used as a polling station. Front Car Park Gates I’m sorry for the inconvenience but due to some parents ignoring the double yellow lines and parking inappropriately the front car park gates will be closed, once again, between 2.45 and 3.45pm. Half Term Children break up on Thursday for half term and return on Monday 22nd February. Have a great holiday. Best wishes
