NORTH TARTAN NEWS 2016 Minnesota AAU State Championship MN AAU State Championships will be held the weekend of May 20 -22. Schedules are posted on www.aauevents.com After a strong AAU Qualifying weekend ALL North Tartan teams will be playing in the upper division with the potential to win a State Championship.

North Tartan State History Since 2010 North Tartan has won 4 or more State Championships each year. Of the 35 possible titles, North Tartan has secured 26! Since the program is obviously not very good at sharing let's prove that Championships Never Graduate.

June and July

As we look into June and July families please follow through with all of your flight and hotel reservations. There has been a lot of information passed on and everyone should be in the final stages securing their travel plans.! Players, now that school is winding down make sure to use the extra time to get more shots up, more reps and increasing your regular work-out. If possible grab a teammate and dedicate certain times to excessive and enter this summer in the best shape possible. !

Wear your colors... State Tournament is a great time to wear all of your NT gear. Support each team!

Director Bi! Larson off to USA Basketba! Trials# Bill Larson will be once again traveling to the Olympic Center in Colorado Springs for the 2016 U17 National Team Trials. This is the fourth year he will help form the team of 12 that will travel to Spain for the U17 FIBA World Championship. Bill will travel on Thursday May 26th and return Monday May 30th! A question that came to mind... What is your Director doing?!

EUROPE 2016 We are a month away and the excitement is building. North Tartan European Tour begins on Monday June 20th and concludes Tuesday June 28th. This unbelievable opportunity includes: • Visit Eiffel Tower with a booking

NCAA RECRUITING CONTACT PERIODS The NCAA publishes recruiting calendars with specific restrictions and rules on when, where and how coaches can communicate with high school athletes they are trying to recruit. These NCAA Contact Periods are critical in the athletic scholarship recruiting process, and any athlete needs to understand them. There are four types of contact periods: Contact Period, Evaluation Period, Quiet Period, Dead Period.! YES, we have been doing this for a while. And, YES, we are going to continue for the YEARS to come! Great to be part of Nike, Girls Elite Youth Basketball and the EYBL League!
