Newsletter - September 2016 Welcome Back! Welcome back to a new school year with lots of exciting, educational and fun activities planned. Please see the ‘Dates For Your Diary’ section for all of the events pencilled in for this Autumn Term. I sadly had to write to you last week regarding the sad passing of our school secretary for over 20 years Linda Delaney. On Friday in school we held a Red, White and Blue day in school to remember Linda and to raise funds for her families chosen charity—St Catherine's Hospice. We raised an amazing total of £681.29! Many thanks to everyone who contributed to this total. A cheque will be sent to the charity this week.

Head Boy / Head Girl Following analysis of our pupil questionnaire responses last year we decided to start this new initiative this academic year at our school. The children and staff voted after reading applications for our Head Boy and Head Girl. Our 2016-2017 Head boy and Head Girl are as follows: Head Boy: Ryan Hornby

Head Girl: Rhianne Leach

Deputy Head Boy: Max Rayner

Deputy Head Girl: Darcy Cartwright

We have also decided to introduce Sports Captains this year. They will be Morgan Whiteley and Lewis Moulding. We also have in school Team Captains, School Council members and Eco— reps. Well done to all of our pupils elected to positions of trust and responsibility.

Parking Please refrain from parking in disabled spaces at the front of school as these are reserved for those who need to use them including pupils, staff and visitors. Thank for your co-operation.
