Nike 7 Turf Project Fundraiser Great Falls Soccer Club teams up with Trump Tennis to help turf Nike 7
April 28th 6:00-9:00pm Trump National Golf Club 20391 Lowes Island Blvd., Potomac Falls, VA 20165 About Great Falls Soccer Club Great Falls Soccer Club is located in Great Falls, VA and offers programs that aim to provide a wholesome, well organized environment in which we teach soccer skills, sportsmanship and teamwork to children ages 4 through 19. We offer league play in the fall and spring seasons and an opportunity to play soccer 11-12 months out of the year.
Nike 7 Turf project The Board of Directors is pleased to report that we have received from the Fairfax County Park Authority all the necessary commitments to form a partnership to build a lighted turf field at the Nike 7 location! Construction is slated to begin in mid-June 2017 and is anticipated to be completed by September 1st. This marks a major milestone in GFSC’s history. Turfing Nike 7 will allow our Club to hold yearround practices and games, to have fewer cancellations and to play even when daylight savings works against us. The additional time provided by a local, lighted turf field will help alleviate some of our growing pains.
Great Falls Soccer Club teams up with Trump National to help build a lighted turf field at Nike 7. GFSC has grown by almost 300 players over the last two years. Access to local turf field space is limited. Please join us for an evening full of tennis featuring the pros from Trump National and Riverbend. Also a special guest appearance from Kastles’ head coach Murphy Jensen (1993 French Open doubles champion). Bring your checkbooks as we will have several silent auction and raffle items open for bid. This will be an event that you will not want to miss.
SCHEDULE ➢ 6:00-7:30pm Clinic with Trump Pros ➢ 7:30-8:30pm Washington Kastles Coach Murphy Jensen will do some fun drills with select individuals DONATION FEES ➢ Free to attend (Donation suggested) ➢ $100 per player to play in the tennis clinic – space limited and adults only, please register once you are logged in at www.greatfallssoccer.com ➢ $20 Raffle tickets (Cash/Check) ➢ Silent Auction Open until 9:00pm Please contact Heather Foris at 443-745-4162 or [email protected] with any questions.
