GAME NOTES THE SERIES: Camden leads, 10-3. LAST MEETING: October 24, 2012 in Camden, NJ. R-C won, 2-1 in double overtime. NJCU led 1-0 at halftime. R-C tied it in the 61st minute and got the golden goal winner at the 104:10 mark after the Raptors had gone nearly 34 minutes without a shot. Dawn Dixon scored the winner off an assist from Leighanna Milby. Milby netted the game-tying goal. NJCU outshot R-C, 19-10. Brittany Hoffman had two saves for NJCU; Lauren West made eight stops. LAST TIME OUT: On October 26, then #6/11 ranked TCNJ blanked NJCU, 7-0, in Ewing outshooting the Gothic Knights, Karla Reyes-Abril/2012 62-0, with 30 shots on goal. Brittany Hoffman made an incredible 23 saves— the second highest mark of her career. SENIOR DAY: Before today’s kickoff, NJCU will honor it’s lone senior, four-year defender Karla Reyes-Abril. The Knights are seeking their first goal in a span of 624:25. HATS OFF TO HOFF: Brittany Hoffman, the NJAC and ECAC Metro Defensive Player of the Week on September 23, has 483 caKarla Reyes-Abril/2013 reer saves. She currently ranks No. 1 nationally among all goalkeepers in saves per game (14.58 per contest). Meanwhile, NJCU, for the fourth straight week, ranks No. 1 as a team in saves per game (16.33) and more than likely will win the national statistical title in the category. Hoffman has stopped at least 20 shots in a game six times (career high of 29 vs. Rowan on September 28). She has reached double figures in saves 20 times in her career and each of the last eight consecutive games. CAMDEN NOTES: The Raptors are one game ahead of NJCU in the standings.
