LOCAL GROUP NEWS: March 2017 CS9 and the gyratory. Our next meeting BBQ for boatraces www.hfcyclists.org.uk CS9 and Hammersmith Gyratory The situation is very fluid. There will have been a Council Scrutiny meeting on 1 March where more will have been revealed. At the moment the plan is for a 2way segregated cycle lane on King Street. The entrance to King St at the gyratory will be reduced to one lane for general traffic. CS9 will continue across the top of the gyratory and along Hammersmith Rd. However at this meeting the opponents are likely to be out in force, concerned about delays to other traffic at the gyratory. Come to our meeting on 7 March to find out more or check out our website.

Suggestion for a segregated cycle lane in Beadon Road

This was presented to TfL as it offered much better traffic conditions for all modes compared to the plan they were consulting on. It involves moving the bus stops away from the station. Tfl have inndicated that they are not keen to do that.
