Division definitions: Because this is a fun show, riders may enter any classes they choose, with the exception of division eligible classes. Divisions are defined as follows: o Youth: Riders age 16 or under o Adult: Riders age 17+ o Novice: Open to riders who have not participated in rated competitions in the past two years. o Competitive: Any rider who has in the past two years or who is currently participating in rated events.

• Entries: Entries will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Electronic entries may be completed online at http://norfolkheritagefarm.eventbee.com/events. There is a $1 fee, per ticket package, for using this service. Entries also may be paid by check. Make checks payable to: Norfolk Heritage Equestrian Farm and mail with entry form(s) to the Show Secretary, Norfolk Heritage Farm, 211 Tocco Road, Montrose, PA 18801. Although registration may be done onsite, day of show, pre-registration is appreciated, and an additional fee of $5 will be assessed when registering day of show. • Awards: First through sixth place awarded ribbons. • Footing & arenas: Outdoor arena is sand. The indoor arena is a sand/rubber mixture. Dressage tests will be ridden in the indoor. • Fees: $20 per day, all classes included. Riders may enter any classes in their divisions, but advanced riders are encouraged to turn their numbers over in lower-level classes as a matter of courtesy to less advanced riders. A fee of $5 per each additional non-compete horse and $10 per each additional competition horse will be charged. • Stabling: Stalls are available on a limited, first-come, first-served basis and cost $15 without bedding or $20 with one bag of shavings. Additional bags of shavings are available at $6 a bag. Tack stalls are available for $25 and will be assigned after the needs of horses are met. Show horses have stabling preference over non-compete horses and tack stalls. • Paperwork: Negative Coggins and Rabies are required for each horse and must be dated within calendar year. Copies will be accepted. Completed and, if sending application via mail, signed entry forms for each horse. The necessary fees. A signed and dated liability waiver. • Refunds: Cancellations will be accepted up to 48 hours before the show date and will be subject to a $5 administrative fee. Last-minute cancellations and no-shows are not eligible for a refund of fees. If the show is canceled due to bad weather or any other unforeseen event beyond Norfolk Heritage Farm’s control, registration fees will not be refunded; however, every effort will be made to reschedule the event or to schedule a compensatory event at the farm for all registered participants. • Noncompete horses: Noncompete horses will require a signed entry form, negative Coggins and Rabies certificates that are dated within the year, and the necessary fee. • Times: Dressage test times will be posted online at http://www. norfolkheritagefarm.com/ three days before the show and delivered electronically via email to each participant. • Management notes: Management reserves the right to combine or cancel classes when necessary. Management reserves the right to eject any individual behaving in an unsafe manner or any horse that presents a danger to people or other horses. • Safety considerations: All riders 16 years old and under must wear an approved helmet while on horseback on show grounds. NO EXCEPTIONS! All riders competing in jumping classes must wear an approved helmet. Management encourages all riders over 16 years to do the same. • Services: An ambulance, a farrier, and a veterinarian will be on call the day of the show. Phone numbers will be posted at the secretary’s stand. • Refreshments: Available on grounds.

LIABILITY WAIVER Release: I understand that horseback riding, and in particular jumping, is a high-risk sport and that I am participating in this competition at my own risk. I hereby assume this risk, and further do hereby release and hold harmless Norfolk Heritage Farm, the Organizer, its agents and employees working on its behalf, the Organizing Committee, judges, officials and all volunteers, the host and property owners from all liability for negligence resulting in accidents, damage, injury, loss or illness to myself and to my property, including the horse I will ride in this competition.
