Baja California Mexico March, 2017 Dear Prayer Partners: We praise the Lord for His continued blessings as we have begun the New Year here in Tijuana. He has been blessing us with much needed rain, but also with showers of other blessings as well; we are so grateful to Him, and also to you for your faithfulness in praying for and giving to the ministries here. We rejoice greatly in the Lord’s blessings on Friend Day which we had a few weeks ago. The hard work of our people was very fruitful, as there were 853 in attendance that Sunday morning, and 100 first time visitors! A number of decisions were made for Christ, and believers followed in baptism. In February, we had a great group of 25 come from Mansfield Baptist Temple in Ohio to work on our outgrown auditorium, which will now be a fellowship hall and classrooms. A second floor was put in over part of the structure where two classrooms were made which can be opened up into one large room. Downstairs there is another room suitable for a classroom and also two restrooms. These folks came ready to “get ‘er done” and this they did! They have come to be a blessing 9 times, and have always done that in a great way. Thank You MBT!! Please be in prayer with us for the upcoming annual Youth Conference which will be held in Mexicali in April. We hope to send a good number of young people to it this year, and are praying for the Lord to do great things through it. We have seen Him call young lives into full-time service in these conferences each year, and have them enter the institute to prepare for the Lord’s service. God has so richly blessed the Bible Institute; we continue to get great reports from graduates on their particular fields, of how He is blessing their efforts for Him. Please continue to pray for our grads and our student body as they prepare for their future service to Him and to others.
