WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW - - - Issue 5, Fall 2012
FORUM NEWS PRIVATE MESSAGING > Send a private message to another Forum user > Easily ENABLE - Click on Your profile name and PERSONAL MESSENGER - Click ENABLE
Access Private Messages - Click to ENABLE
> Easily DISABLE if you do not want to participate in Private Messaging using the instructions below
HOW TO SEND A MESSAGE 1) From a Forum post mouseover any user’s Forum Name to get to SEND MESSAGE option (NOTE - users can optout) 2) When composing a message - enter a user’s Forum Name & Send
Mouseover or click on any user’s name to access their Forum Profile. If they are open to receiving PM’s click SEND MESSAGE
TROUBLE W/ A USER? 1) Visit MANAGE IGNORE PREFERENCES from your profile menu to access this page 2) You can block Private Messages (& more) from specific Forum Users by listing their Forum Name
