Trainmen must pay particular attention to works contained in this notice and keep a good look-out for handsignals which may be exhibited in accordance with the Rules and Regulations. Work at places other than those mentioned may be in progress and Drivers must be on the look-out and be prepared to stop or run at reduced speed when, and where, handsignals may be exhibited.

Drivers must check the speed restriction shown in the Weekly Operating Notice and be prepared to run at such speed unless the Warning Board and speed indicator indicate that a different speed applies.' THACKLEY JUNCTION AND GUISELEY JUNCTION Thackley Junction signal box has been abolished. The Thackley Junction Down Main Outer Distant signal has been abolished and the Thackley Junction Down Main Inner Distant signal is being retained as the Guiseley Junction Down Main Distant signal. All other signals formerly worked by Thackley Junction have been abolished. The Absolute Block Regulations now apply between Apperley Junction and Guiseley Junction. (7)
YORKYARD SOUTH — REMODELLING The facing connection — leading from Down Goods to Down Reception No.1 has been secured out of use pending replacement further north. Signalling Alterations:— Position light signal No.39, on the Down Reception No.1 has been repositioned 15 yards further north, and will only apply along Down Reception No.1 (towards No027 signal) until Sunday 5 February. (The signal routes from Down Leeds Goods and Up Scarborough Goods signals to Down Reception No.1 will not be available until the facing connection leading from Down Goods to Down Reception No.1 is replaced further north on Sunday 5 February). SELBY STATION AREA Consequent upon the securing out of use and/or removal of the Down and Up Main Lines through Selby Station, the following signalling alteration have been carried out. The following signals appertaining to the former Main lines through the station have been abolished:— Up Main 4-Aspect signal S1954 Down Main 4-Aspect signal S1955 and its associated Banner Repeating signal.
