Family Discussion
Talk about Paul and his letter to the Ephesians. Ask the children who their letter is going to and why they chose that person. Help them deliver their letter.
Have the kids come in to class and hand them a “letter” (notecard) They can put a sticker on their letter or even decorate it. Have them deliver it to the mailbox. Explain that today we are talking about Paul writing a letter to the church in Ephesus.
Activity
Movement activities are important to allow the kids to learn the lesson in a tactile way. It also helps toddlers get their wiggles out so they can focus better in other areas of class.

Craft Title
Have the class line up in 3 lines. Place the mailboxes on the other side of the room. Give the kids each a letter (index card) and have them do different actions to the mailbox and put their mail inside. These actions could be hopping, walking backwards, etc.
To keep toddlers’ attention, give them one step of the craft to do at a time. Wait until they have completed one step before giving them the next. If they are not interested in doing the craft today, be sure to send it home so they can complete it there.
Letter of Encouragement
Objective
Remind the children to write a letter or encourage a friend to praise and worship God.
Supplies Needed
□ Letter Template □ Envelopes □ Stickers □ Decorative Materials (Markers, paints, etc.)
Instructions

Decorate the letter and envelope as desired. Put the letter into the envelope. Put the sticker on as the stamp. Ask the children who they would like to send their letter to and write that person’s name on the envelope for them.
