Red Ribbon Week EEE will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week October 24th 28th. This is a celebration to promote drug free awareness and prevention throughout our school and community. Our main focus at the elementary school level is medicine safety and healthy living. Listed are the days that the students will be dressing up to promote being drug free. A note about Red Ribbon Week will soon follow.
Family Night
Announcements
Family night will take place on October 6 from 5:45 – 7:15. We have some great activities planned for the students!!!! 2nd grade will also be performing. Be sure to mark your calendar!
For the month of September, each class took time to learn about Freedom Week as well as spent time discussing the Constitution.
Fun, Family Halloween Snack Recipe
1. Prepare a package of lime or apple Jell-O as directed and divide among 8-ounce mason jars or clear bowls, filling only halfway; refrigerate them until firm.
10/24 - Camo Day 10/25 – Crazy Hair Day 10/26 – 50’s Day 10/27 – Red Day 10/28 – Spirit Day
2. Prepare another Jell-O flavor, such as cherry, berry-blue or grape. While Jell-O is cooking, place three gummy worms on top of set gelatin and let another hang over the lip. Pour second flavor over the worms, filling to the top; refrigerate. 3. ENJOY !!!!
Each Friday a class is featured in the online Fun Friday announcements. Please check our website and be on the look out for your child’s class.
Big thanks to PTA for supplying prizes for our drawing for students who returned all beginning of the year paperwork!
