Welcome! We pray that you will be uplifted as we worship together. We strive to speak where the Bible speaks and remain silent where the Bible is silent. Please visit us again.
October 27, 2013 Job 42:1-6 ob teaches us so many valuable lessons. One of the last great lessons we learn from this man of faith is that when we see the true greatness of God, it will cause us to want to change our lives for the better. God spends three chapters answering Job out of a whirlwind (Job 38–40). God says, “Now gird up your loins like a man, and I will ask you, and you instruct Me! (Job 38:3). Then God proceeds to question Job. Questions like: Who put the equator into place? How is the sea held back? Where does light and darkness come from? What about clouds, rain, snow, birds, mammals and dinosaurs (the behemoth and leviathan)? What happens next should be the response of all of mankind when thought is given to the breathtaking power and majesty of God. Notice that Job’s response consists of five things: 1. God can do all things! (vs. 2) 2. God’s purpose will not be changed! (vs. 2) 3. I will never fully comprehend God’s greatness and power!(vs. 3) 4. It’s time for me to completely listen to God! (vs. 4-5) 5. I must change my life in full repentance! (vs. 6) As we look at God through nature and His Word, may we be a people who recognize His greatness and then see how undone and unrighteous we are compared to Him. Finally, may we examine our lives and repent from any unrighteousness that we may be holding on to.

Also, help is needed in getting our display set up. If you are able to help, please speak to Jerry Shilling. It will take a lot of help and time to get the lights all set up. Once you have talked with him, times will be set up and announced. Thanks in advance.
