Mark Your Calendar—On Friday, November 10 TLS will be celebrating Special Person’s Day. Each student is invited to bring a grandparent or another “special” adult to Trinity for the morning. Chapel will begin at 9am with many activities to follow. Please note that this will be a half day and students will be dismissed at 11:45am.

First Quarter Chapel Offerings will be given to the Berrien Springs Christmas Care program. This local organization provides toys, gifts, hats/ mittens, and non-perishable food to local families in need. You are welcome to donate any of the above listed items or make a monetary donation during the first quarter. Offerings given to date total $153.67. Picture Retake Day is Coming! If you are not happy with your child’s picture or if your child missed the first picture day, please plan on having your child’s picture taken on Wednesday, November 15. Order forms are available in the school office. Retake instructions are also printed on the outside of the student’s package envelope. Wreath & Greenery Sale—The 7th/8th grade would like to thank everyone who placed an order during their recent sale. Profits made from this fundraiser will go towards their class trip. Delivery will be in mid-November. Thanks for your support of TLS and its students. Special Thanksgiving Lunch—On Thursday, November 16 we will be having an all school lunch served and prepared by some of our church members. All students and staff will eat together in the church fellowship hall. A detailed note will be going home with students next week. No hot lunch or drinks will be available.

The Saving Stamps Program began on Wednesday, September 20. Every Wednesday morning from 8:30-8:45am bring your quarters and dollars to the school library and Be a Super Saver! A filled $25 stamp book earns prizes. While you are saving you are helping build a church or school for other kids just like you. Any questions email [email protected]. Scrip News—Feel free to stop by the office during office hours to purchase from the cards we have available on hand or to submit an order. The next Scrip sale at church will be November 5 following each worship service. Tuition Reminder—School has gotten off to a great start! Schedules are becoming busy with school activities and family functions. This comes as a gentle reminder that school tuition payments are due by the 1st of each month. Payments are spaced out over a 12-month period starting in July, 2017 and running through June, 2018. It is our hope that a monthly payment plan will be easier for all families to budget. If you have any questions on your tuition payments, please see Sara in the office. Thanks!☺ Miss the Magazine Sale?—Have relatives/ friends out of town? Now anyone can order magazines anytime during the school year at gaschoolstore.com and enter the school ID code #2662468. The 40% profit is used by PTL (Parent Teacher League) to sponsor many fun activities during the school year. Thanks for your support!

Wondering why is there a huge box in the hallway? Each October the Women’s Service League conducts its Operation Coats Drive. This local organization collects and distributes free coats to people living in Berrien County. In the past 25 years this event has helped many keep warm through Michigan’s winters. Trinity is honored to be a collection point again this year for gently used or new coats, hats, scarves, and mittens in any size. This collection will run through the month of October.

Sports Physicals—For all students planning on playing sports this year at Trinity, please be informed that you must have a sports physical. This rule will be strictly enforced in the fall. No one will be allowed to practice or participate until a physical form (dated May 1, 2017 or after) is on file in the office.

Spirit Days at Trinity—Fridays are designated as Spirit Day at Trinity! What does this mean? Students are asked to wear their Trinity Spirit Wear or school colors (green/white) on Fridays.

Pop Tab Collection—Mrs. Mitchell’s 3rd and 4th grade class is collecting pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House. Please drop off your pop tabs in a zip lock bag to room #2.
