Our Time Here Our house has amazing views across the local countryside, over Marshside and right through to the Isle of Thanet. To the North in the distance ships can be seen navigating the Thames Estuary. We have a feature fireplace in the lounge with a wood burner that is the heart and soul of the house. Our kitchen/dining area has been the venue of many dinner parties seating large numbers. Our top floor main bedroom and guest room, complete with en-suite and dressing area, enjoy the extensive views. Our house is one of six properties surrounding a picturesque pond between Chislet and Hoath. The area is so peaceful, yet not too far from local towns. Hoath has many clubs and groups that meet regularly at the village hall. The two village pubs, The Gate at Marshside and The Prince of Wales at Maypole are both extremely popular places for local beers and food. We know that we will miss the peaceful and picturesque setting of this house the most.
