About ATSSA PAC
Should I Contribute?
ATSSA Political Action Committee (PAC) was established to enable members of our industry to SRROWKHLUSHUVRQDO¿QDQFLDOUHVRXUFHVDQGKHOS elect federal lawmakers who support roadway safety infrastructure issues on Capitol Hill.
ATSSA PAC is a powerful tool for ATSSA to build relationships and lifetime champions on Capitol Hill.
Only personal contributions may be accepted in order to support election activities; federal law prohibits ATSSA PAC from using corporate contributions or ATSSA dues for candidate campaigns.
Contributions There are strict rules on who can give to a PAC. We may solicit: Individuals who qualify as part of our restricted FODVVXQGHUWKHGH¿QLWLRQRIDPHPEHU The association’s executive personnel, exempt personnel, and non-corporate members and their families at anytime. Corporate members’ executive and administrative personnel, stockholders and their families at any time provided we have gained prior written approval.
Supporting candidates who support roadway safety infrastructure and long-term solvency of the Highway Trust Fund is vitally important to your company and, in turn, your job security. The policy that is set at the federal level directly impacts the number of transportation construction and safety infrastructure jobs that are created across the country. WE NEED to elect Members of Congress who understand and support our industry.
ATSSA PAC Success Nearly doubled the funding for the Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) by $1 billion annually. ATSSA PAC had a very successful election cycle in 2012 and is proud to announce a 97% election rate.
