Sales report: June may well be looked back upon as the month it all happened! Many factors are converging at the moment and the results will be interesting to say the least. Two primary forces; (i) the election campaign is finally concluding and (ii) properties are pouring on to the market. The heightened shortage over the 1st half of the year appears to be over so now time will tell if this resilient and so far upwardly mobile market can withstand not only the pressures that bank restrictions and economic pressures overall have been slowly inflicting but also an environment where buyers will have more choice. It´s very early for Spring but that´s how it feels. Selling this year? Sooner the better! Investment report: When you have approximately 1,200 properties under your care and less than 10 of them are vacant - mid-Winter no less - that´s a pretty good batting average. Not only is that our state of play but the team has been working really well together and in fact are forcing the number downward. Appreciating that Winter still has more ahead than behind but in light of all else including some clean-up from the substantial storm damage that is still requiring attention, a happy position for our Property Management team. We look forward to discussing what this market may mean for you anytime.
