check payable to “CITY OF SEVEN HILLS” This fee covers all referee and time keeper fees for the tournament (three games guaranteed.) th *Registration forms and fees are due February 26 ** Please note there will be an admission charge at the door (players and coaches enter free) TEAM ROSTERS Team roster form enclosed – COMPLETE ROSTERS MUST be in 5 days prior to the start of tournament play. You can have more players but only 10 individual trophies will be awarded. **7/8 grade division can only have 2 players from same middle school team per OHSAA regulations -NO travel or AAU teams accepted in 7/8 boys division DIVISIONS, GRADE AND ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: We will have 5 divisions for this year’s tournament: o 3/4 Grade Girls and 3/4 Grade Boys o 5/6 Grade Girls and 5/6 Grade Boys o 7/8 Grade Boys and 7/8 Girls *if we have enough interest - A player may only play up a division, never down a division. - Any team caught with an illegal player shall forfeit all games that player played in. **Each coach is responsible to have a copy of each of their player’s report card available at each game played.

ADMISSION TO GAMES: Admission is as Follows: – Daily: $3 Adults, $2 Senior Citizens and Children over 5 All players and two coaches from each team will be admitted into the tournament free. Coaches names must be submitted on the Team Roster turned in to the Tournament Director and checked at the door. **Any person asked to leave the gym for any reason will not be refunded the admission fee. NUNMBER OF TEAMS / COACHES / PLAYERS: o We will accept eight (8) to twelve (12) teams in all divisions. o Only 2 coaches are permitted on the bench during games. STRICTLY ENFORCED due to limited space. o We do not limit the number of players but we do hand out only 10 individual trophies for the 1st thru 4th place teams

UNIFORMS / JERSEYS: Please provide the color of your team’s shirts/jersey on the roster form so we can attempt to avoid color conflicts. All jerseys must have numbers on front or back with no duplicates please.

TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE AND PLAYOFFS: Each division will be split into “pools” in which all teams will play and are guaranteed 3 games. Each team’s standing at the end of pool play will determine their seeding in the playoff brackets. o There will be 2 playoff brackets with the highest seed from one bracket playing the lower seed from the other bracket in the semifinals. o The winners of each game will play for the championship & 2 nd place o The losers each game will play for 3rd / 4th place

TIE BREAKER RULES: In case of a tie, the tie breakers, in the following order, will be in effect: 1.

Head-to-head. 1) Winner of the game between the two teams will win the tie-breaker. 2) If three teams are in a tie breaker and one team had defeated both other teams, they prevail in the tie breaker. 3) If 3 teams tie (Team A, Team B and Team C) and A beat B and lost to C, B beat C but lost to A AND C beat A but lost to B: i. If only 1 out of the 3 makes the playoffs - the next tie breaker (point differential) will then decide. ii. If 2 out of the 3 make the playoffs – the 1st seed will be decided by point differential AND the 2nd seed will be determined by head to head result. Point differential. Maximum of 15 points per game. Team with the highest point total wins the tie breaker. Point given up Maximum of 15 points per game. The team with the lowest total points given up (against) wins the tie breaker. Coin Toss.

TROPHIES / AWARDS (per division): Individual (10) AND team trophies will be awarded to the 1st THRU 4TH place teams. COACHES INFORMATION: We will notify all coaches via e-as well as it will be posted to our website about scheduling and divisions (if necessary) for pool play.
