As many of you know, at the close of the year we will celebrate the retirement of Mrs. Leanna Patterson. Mrs. Patterson has served Holy Family School in a variety of ways over her 25 years of service. As she shared with me in conversation, she loves the opportunity to run into former students and reminisce on all those years and students whom she has taught. She will be deeply missed. All of us wish her the absolute very best in her retirement. As an avid reader and golfer, we know she will be busy doing many fun things. We are very happy to announce that Molly Frandrup will take over as the 8th grade teacher of Holy Family School for the 2017-2018 school year. Mrs. Frandrup’s experience and leadership qualities make her a natural fit for the position. The students are very excited to be in her class next year. Today, we will post a 2nd grade position on EdJoin and begin interviews once the posting closes. A panel of teachers will sit with me to hold interviews, and we hope to announce the new second grade teacher in early June. Tosha Tillotson Interim Principal

Parent Club News PARENT POINTS & SCRIP: Please take a minute to check your Parent Service Points and SCRIP totals. All points and SCRIP must be fulfilled by May 31. Please check the school website or check in with the school office if you need more information or have any questions. NOTE - All Eighth Grade families must have their Parent Point and SCRIP fulfilled by May 15th in order for their graduate to participate in ALL graduation related activities.

SCRIP: There are only a couple weeks left to order SCRIP for this school year! Please make sure you place your order by 8:00am on Tuesdays to get your SCRIP order by the end of the week. Our last weekly SCRIP order for this school year will be placed on Tuesday, May 23. SCRIP will be available for purchases and special orders throughout the summer! However, please call or email Mrs. Gustason to check on availability and office hours. Online SCRIP and ShopWithScrip app purchases will be available all summer so keep buying SCRIP and get a jump on next year! If you would like more information on our fundraisers, volunteering or have a question, please contact our Parent Club President, ShaKay Mack ([email protected]).
Box Tops/Labels for Education News Congratulations to the 5th grade class for winning the final competition of the school year. They will be awarded with a Jamba Juice Party sometime this month. Collectively, they turned in 525 Box Tops and 48 Labels for Education points. The Kindergarten class was a close 2ndwith 497 Box Tops and the 7th grade class came in 3rd with 417 Box Tops and 64 Labels for Education points. As you know, our school gets 10 cents for every unexpired Box Top we turn in. There was a huge turnout this time and I want to thank everyone for their participation. SCRIP News Time is running out to fulfill your Scrip obligation for the 2016-2017 school year! Scrip is ordered on Tuesday mornings and ready for pick up by Thursday afternoon. Our last order for this school year will be May 23 rd!!
Faith Formation Character Counts for January Punctuality
Join us this Wednesday for our weekly school Mass at 8:30am with Father Enrique.
