WHY JESUS IS THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN PUT THINGS BACK RIGHT Jesus claims to be divine— I am the resurrection and the life. Jesus didn’t just claim it, he demonstrated it. Jesus shows that he is fully human: He wept. Jesus is mad at death. To save us from death, Jesus would have to die in our place. Jesus is God but he is absolutely and totally human.
