Q : What are the costs associated with football for the 2017 season? A:
Tackle Football o League Fee - $85 paid directly to the league o Team Fee $320 Cash Option (Can also be paid by card when registering at www.parkvillevikings.com) Raffle Option 20 tickets to sell @ $20 per o Note : All tickets not sold are non-returnable and must be purchased by the holder. Parkville Vikings FAQ Q : What does my League fee / team fee cover? A:
League fee o Paid directly to the league and covers your registration fees Team Fee o Registration o Covers your athlete for all equipment required to play including but not limited to Game and Practice Jerseys Game and Practice Pants Shoulder Pads Helmet Cheer Uniform Flag Uniform
Q : Where are games played? A : We have an 8 game regular season. 4 games will be played on our NEW home field at Plaza Middle School. 4 games will be played at our opponents fields. Details on all away games will be provided once the league releases the 2017 schedule. Q : How do A games / B games work and when are they played? A:
A Games o Played on Saturdays B Games o Played on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday based on the league schedule.
Q : Do the athletes get to keep their uniforms? A:
Tackle o players do not get to keep their uniforms. All uniforms and equipment must be turned in at the end of the season. Flag o players will get to keep their Custom jerseys! Pants (and helmets for competitive flag) will need to be turned back in at the end of the season. Cheer o Cheerleaders do not get to their uniforms. They do however get to keep their Custom warm up jackets!
Parkville Vikings FAQ Q : What are the age requirements at each level of football? A:
Tackle o 3rd & 4th grade division: No player can be ten (10) years old before January 1 of the current year. All players in the 4th grade division must be enrolled in school as a 4th grader or below. o 5th & 6th grade division: No player can be twelve (12) years old before January 1 of the current year. All players in the 5th & 6th grade division must be enrolled in school as a 6th grader or below. o 7th & 8th grade division: No player can be fifteen (15) years old before July 1 of the current year. All players in the 7th & 8th grade division must be enrolled in school as an 8th grader or below. Flag o Age Limit: Division I – Competitive, Division II - Developmental and Division III - Instructional: No player can be eight (8) years old on or before January 1 of the current year. All players in each division must be enrolled in school as a 2nd grade or below.
