Our Time Here We were first attracted by the kerb appeal of this property, having driven past Parsonage Road regularly and admiring the large houses here for many years. It was really a case of the right place and the right time as we were looking for a property when we saw this house for sale. From the first viewing we were blown away by the sheer size and presence of the house, being impressively spacious with so many original features and one of the largest gardens in the area. It’s a truly special house. The whole property is spacious and we have enjoyed entertaining here over the years. Perhaps our favourite part of the house is the impressive Billiard Room, which has a real wow factor – with a 22ft ceiling. It’s the jewel in the crown, a great space for socialising and holding family get-togethers. We’ve actually had a bar put in here and a pool table. We also love to spend time in the large mature landscaped garden, which is about 70ft wide. We really like the setting of the property, positioned in its own plot on a peaceful and quiet road, although just a 15 minute walk from the centre of Herne Bay and the seafront. The train station is also a 15 minute walk away, ideal for anyone looking to commute, and of course the house is well-placed for access onto Thanet Way. There is additionally the triangle bus route between here, Whitstable and Canterbury that stops at the end of the road. We are also close to many beautiful woodlands and the countryside.
