Parts & Service Communicator Subject: Brix kit Information Scope: Recently several service companies have tried to brix Flomatic valves without using a Flomatic Syrup separator. There are several syrup separators in the field that resembles the Flomatic. The primary difference between the Flomatic separator and other separators is the “S” tube boot seal. Several of these boot seals will fit onto the same size “S” tube. Trying to brix valves without the proper syrup separator will result in improper brix ratio being dispensed into your customer’s cup.
Action: Flomatic has the syrup separator available in several different forms. The boot seal for a stainless “S” tube is part number 1089-02. The boot seal has a list price of $2.42 each. The “S” tube with the boot seal has an assembly part number 1089. This assembly has a list price of $9.01 each. There is a service kit which includes a hex wrench for the brix nuts, nozzle wrench, cleaning brush, “S” tube, and boot seal. This service kit has a part number of 1097-S has a list price of $11.11 per kit. The complete brix kit includes the ratio cup, hex wrench, cleaning brush, “S” tube and boot seal has a part number of 1095. This complete kit has a list price of $21.88 each.
