Parts & Service Communicator Subject: CEV Carbonator Wiring SYMPTOM The drink dispenser will not produce carbonated water. The carbonator pump will not operate after a proper installation is completed. SCOPE This affects the Servend CEV30 & CEV40 counter electric dispensers with internal carbonation manufactured between 9 May 2006 and 26 May 2006 with a serial number that begins with 06ET DETECTION The Carbonator motor will not cycle when the red (low water) light on the control board is illuminated. The #8 wiring assembly (wire harness from the carbonator tank to the control board) does not have the wires in the correct order. The correct order at the control board plug is left to right green, red, & black. ACTION To remedy this problem, you may field cut and splice the green & black wires into the correct order, or you may order a corrected wire harness. The correct wire harness part number is 5012537. Upon detection of the error, all Manitowoc warehouse inventory machines were corrected.
