Parts & Service Communicator Subject: Push for Ice Lever Conversion SCOPE S, SV, SVi, MDH, SCI, FRP (All units with standard rocking chute ice dispensers). This conversion makes one handed ice dispense an easy task.

ACTION Convert your “Push For Ice” chute into a lever by doing the following;
Step 1 As you face the dispenser hold the top part of the lever arms and pull both sides of the “Push For Ice” lever away from each other until the tab is removed from the holes in each side of the chute.
Step 2 Move the lever down the chute until the arm buttons line up with the lower chute holes and insert, making sure the inner portion of the plastic lever is located against the back of the chute opening.
NOTE: Make sure the tab is to the inside of the ice chute so when pressure is applied to the lever it does not swing free. The plastic levers come in two sizes; 3” narrow and 3.75” wide.
