Dear Friends, On behalf of the staff and board of the Quad Cities Prayer Center, we would like to invite you to be a part of a very special day to honor pastors in our community. In a day and age where nearly 1,500 clergy leave the ministry each month we would like to encourage and bless those in the Quad Cities region! Friday, Sept. 16, we will be hosting a Pastors’ Masters Golf Tournament. Here’s how it works… You are invited to put together a team (four players)…the only stipulation is that one of them has to be a pastor! Team cost for the entire day is $270 ($90/each for the three non-clergy players on the team and the pastor is free) which includes greens fees, carts, awards banquet, and prizes. Please note that all prizes will be awarded to the pastor on the team as a way to bless them!! Pastor’s Masters will be held at Emeis Golf Course (4500 W. Locust Street, Davenport) with the day beginning at 7:30 a.m. for registration/warm-up and the shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Lunch and awards will begin around 1:30 p.m. in the adjacent Emeis pavilion. This year’s event promises to be a great tournament and we invite you to be a part of this fun-filled day of golf and fellowship. Registrations are due in the QCPC office not later than Wednesday, September 7. However, to assist with the planning process, it would be helpful if you could turn in your foursomes as soon as possible. If you have any questions, please contact the Prayer Center at 563.323.3090.
