Narrative: On July 31, 2013 at 0037 hours, Placerville Police Officers were dispatched to a burglary in progress at Placerville Polaris. As officers were responding to the scene, the reporting party advised that a truck left the business with a trailer attached. Officers were in the area and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle. The driver, identified as Daniel Kinsley from Redondo Beach and the passenger who was identified as Shaunna Weiss from LaMirada, were in possession of burglary tools. Officers contacted Placerville Polaris who reported the trailer as stolen. Additionally, when officers checked Placerville Polaris, they located two generators that had been removed from the business' property and a lock to a large fenced area on the business' property had been cut. Both suspects were booked at EDC jail.
