Senior Hurling Championship: Option 1 10 teams to compete in this year’s championship, in 2 groups of 5 Group 1: Raharney, Clonkill, Castletown Geoghegan, Lough Lene Gaels, & Castlepollard. Group 2: St.Brigid’s, Delvin, St.Oliver Plunketts, Brownstown, & Turin (TBC). Concluding stages: Top 2 teams in Group 1 into Semi finals, third & fourth teams in Group 1 into Qtr finals, Top 2 teams in Group 2 into Qtr finals. Qtr-finals: Top team in Group 2 plays 3rd team in Group 1, while, Second team in Group 2 plays fourth team in Group 1 Semi-finals: Top team in Group 1 plays winner of Qtr final, second team in Group 2 v fourth team in Group 1, Second team in Group 1 v of Qtr final, top team in Group 2 v 3rd team in Group 1 Relegation: Bottom team in Group 1 relegated to group 2 for 2018 Bottom team in Group 2 will be relegated to Intermediate for 2018. Semi-finals: Open Draw Promotion: Winner promoted to Senior group 2 for 2018 if sole intermediate club. Relegation: No Relegation Junior Championship: Junior A 15 a side League system – 1 division Open draw Clonkill, Raharney, Oliver Plunketts, Lough Lene Gaels, Castlepollard, Delvin, Cullion, & Crookewood Top 2 teams into final. Junior B 13 a side League system – 1 division Open draw Ringtown, Cullion, Turin, Fr. Daltons. Top 2 teams into final. Fé 21 Championship: One competition 15 aside, Open draw, knock-out.

Note *** For the purpose of qualification rule 6.23 will be used to determine placings, however, if teams 4 & 5 following the application of the above rule finish on equal points, the committee reccomends playoff’s to be used to determine the outcome. No team will be eliminated from the competitions based on the head to head result or scoring difference.*** Leagues: It is proposed to restructure the leagues in the following manner for 2017 and beyond Division 1

All County Leagues Division 1, 2, 3 will be 15 aside while Division 4 will be 13 aside with the option to play 15 aside, subject to both clubs agreeing, with a league final to be played between the two top teams in each division, the winner of the league final in Div 2, 3, & 4 to be promoted for 2018. Bottom team in each division to be relegated for 2018. Feis Cup: Open to all 8 clubs participating in the senior championship, 1 group; Open Draw Knockout, Intermediate Cup: Open to all 7 sole Intermediate clubs, 1 group; Open Draw Knockout, Naming of Players: Senior clubs to name 12 players, for senior clubs entering the Intermediate championship propper the must name a further 5 players and any other player who plays in the Senior Championship.

Senior Clubs entering Intermediate & Junior Championship competitions name 17 & 3 respectively, Intermediate Clubs – Name 10 players. Intermediate Clubs entering Intermediate & Junior Championship competitions name 10 & 7 respectively,

Extra time (10 mins each half) To be played in the following; , all playoff games, all rounds including the Final of the Fé21. All Cup Competitions, all League Finals, Semi Finals, and Finals of JHC NOTES 1. Entry fee for entering a second/third team in the ACHL is set @ €300 per team repayable to clubs who compete in all rounds of the various league divisions. 2. The league will be played between February and May with the finals in early June. 3. All teams will be out the one weekend (ie Div 2 on Saturday and Div 1 & Div 4 on Sunday). 4. The absence of County players is not an acceptable reason for the postponement of League games. Postponements/Rearrangements will not be granted; unless in exceptional circumstances. (Waterlogged Pitches, Death in your Club) and then only with permission from The CCC Chairperson Sean Sheridan. 5. Entry fee for entering the U-21 HC is set @ €300 per team repayable to clubs who compete in all fixtures until knocked out of competition.
