PLAYER PLAY-UP POLICY
At the beginning of the fall 2016/spring 2017 travel soccer season US Soccer and Indiana Soccer mandated that all players be placed on a team based on their birth year (please reference the age group chart on our website). In the best interest of all players, Indiana Soccer and ISFC will create travel soccer teams in this way.
If a parent requests that their player play-up for the season in an older age group, the following factors will influence the final decision:
The player must be able to make one of the starting roster spots for that team The existing coach and new coach must agree on the move The move must be approved by the ISFC Board Officers Residence of the player will be considered
Parent/player play-up requests are considered confidential. Effective date of policy change is July 1, 2017.
