New Arrivals Heather Bailey and Amy Butler, our industry’s next-generation designers, are making their mark with a fresh take on florals. First, check out Heather Bailey’s Nicey Jane collection below. You can just taste springtime in this clean-looking and happy collection.
Nicey Jane by Heather Bailey for Westminster Fibers Wondering what to do with this lovely fabric? We chose a pattern, “The Square Within,” from Karla Alexander’s latest book, Color Shuffle.
Quilt pattern “The Square Within” by Karla Alexander in her book Color Shuffle. Amy Butler works with a bolder style with her florals and paisleys and a more saturated color palette. Her latest collection is called Love.

This is also part of Amy Butler’s Love collection. It looks great as a quilt border or backing or try it out on a purse or skirt pattern. We are always excited when a shipment of batiks comes in, but we were more than thrilled to unpack the full collection of Enchanted Journey by Avlyn. These batiks have been meticulously designed to capture the motifs and feel of the southwest.

Every now and then artist Alice Gunter puts down her paint brushes and brings us one of her one-of-a-kind wall hanging quilts. Besides being beautifully designed and colored, her quilts are special in that they are completely made by hand without the aid of a sewing machine. Alice expresses a slight breeze through her shashiko stitches in the quilt below.
