How to Create a Deployment for Autodesk Inventor Professional 2015 Updated: 5/1/15
Procedure – Creating the Deployment 1. Launch the Installer that you have downloaded from the ARC Portal. 2. Select Create Deployment.
3. Select OK.
4. Input the name of your deployment and the Administrative Image Path or Browse to the folder location.
** Note: This folder location must be somewhere on the school network that can be accessed from all the machines you want to install on. **

5. Verify the below settings are checked and select Next.
6. Select Accept and Next.
7. Select the type of licensing your Institution is using and input the following information.

Enter the necessary information depending on license type. Network Standalone

Once the above information is correct select Next. If further technical support is needed Email: [email protected]

10. Leave selection as “Autodesk Inventor Professional 2015” same and select Next.
11. Select the down arrow under Autodesk 2015.
12. Scroll down to the section titled “Service Packs” and select Download to include the most current Service Pack with your install.
13. Once the service pack has fully downloaded select the up arrow to close the configure dropdown.

14. Uncheck “Autodesk Vault Basic 2015 (Client)”, “Autodesk Application Manager”, “Autodesk ReCap”, and “Autodesk 360”. These are not needed for PLTW Curriculum and can save space by not being installed.
15. Select Create and the process of creating your Deployment Package will begin. 16. Once this screen shows up, select Finish.

Procedure – Installing from the Deployment 1. Navigate to the administrative path used for your deployment package on your network.
*Note: This is a sample directory. You will need to use the one you have created. ** 2. Select the Shortcut listed here. This will be the name that you designated in the creation process.
3. Select Run if prompted.
4. The installation progress will be shown on a progress window.
5. Once it is finished, you will see the I Pro Icon shown on the desktop.
